One-to-one mentoring Delivered by an established business leader, this will be a highly personalised mentoring relationship, tailored specifically for your needs. Your mentor will be carefully chosen based on their personality, skills and experience so that they understand your needs. Your mentoring relationship will be driven by you and will allow you to explore your personal development in relation to your business needs.
How will it work?
All you have to do is check your eligibility, select your chosen provider from a wide network of providers, and register for one-to-one mentoring.
Your chosen provider will contact you to discuss your needs and what the programme offers in further detail. You will be profiled, your provider will present a shortlist of suitable mentors and you will have the chance to choose which one you prefer. You will set the goals and objectives of the relationship for you and your mentor to work towards and to review progress against.
You will agree where, when and how often you’ll meet, in an informal setting away from your workplace. Typically, a mentoring relationship will last between six and 12 months depending on your requirements and will involve a session lasting a couple of hours once a month.
Group mentoringWith the support of peers who are encountering similar business challenges and the guidance of a highly experienced mentor, group mentoring will enable you to develop new skills and create innovative ideas that will help you to grow your business.
As part of a group of up to eight like-minded business people, you will meet on a monthly basis in order to mentor each other by exchanging ideas, experiences and learning, all with the support of a trained mentor. For owners and leaders who may feel isolated at the top, this offers an opportunity to work together with your peers on potential areas of personal and business development and growth.
How will it work?
All you have to do is check your eligibility, select your chosen provider from our network, and register for group mentoring.
Your chosen provider will contact you to discuss your needs and what the programme offers in further detail. You will be profiled and your provider will provisionally allocate you to the next group due to commence in your sub-region, providing you with details of the mentor, other participants and proposed date of first meeting. If this is unsuitable, you will be offered a place within another group.
Typically a group will meet monthly for a series of six months. You’ll cover topics including leadership development, competency development and creative techniques and benefit from a ‘role model’ session with a successful business leader or entrepreneur.
