Are you running your business, or is it running you? It is often difficult to find the time to think about how you can optimise your potential in order to grow your business.
A mentor will give you the space you need to take a step back so you can move forward.
You will have access to quality assured mentors who will work with you - at your pace - to set goals and objectives to help you grow your business.
They will help you to think about your concerns and encourage you to find innovative solutions to drive your business forward.
The Business Mentoring programme offers two types of support:
- one-to-one mentoring
- group mentoring

Am I eligible?
The Business Mentoring programme is for leaders and senior managers of small businesses that have been trading for a minimum of one year whose turnover is less than £2m.
The Business Mentoring programme is funded by the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) and cannot support those already accessing:
- agency funded Business Start Up support.
- agency funded High Growth Coaching support.
- agency funded LEAD programme support.
- Working Neighbourhood Fund (WNF) business support.
- Local Enterprise Growth Initiative (LEGI) business support, or who are located in LEGI funded areas.
What is the commitment/cost to the business?
The Business Mentoring programme is free of charge. If you can commit your time and be open and honest with your mentor, you can unlock the door to future rewards for you and your business and it won't cost a penny!
Typically a mentoring relationship would last between six and 12 months, for a few hours mentoring each month.
